In the world of the complete hilarious and absolute ridicule, a Japanese man decides it is best, at this present day and age, to marry a comic book character. He started a petition to ALLOW the absurd marriage.

"I am no longer interested in three dimensions. I would even like to become a resident of the two-dimensional world," he wrote.
"However, that seems impossible with present-day technology. Therefore, at the very least, would it be possible to legally authorise marriage with a two-dimensional character?"

Funnily enough, he's not the only one with the weird fetish (we are all aware of the existence of the nonsensical Anime porn - I can NEVER get it! Really I don't); there are many others who are signing the petition.

All of this reminds of me a relative of mine who had this amazingly huge crush on that Dragon Ball Z character; Trunks. At least she never thought of marrying him.... or so I believe.
