Managed to catch this movie for lunch yesterday, and apparently it’s a remake of another of a same name in 2000 - - which is funny considering that I’ve never heard of it before.
Anyway.. the movie;
Bad ass cars… Babes and blood… oooh an awesome combination for those craving for intense adrenaline rush.
Unfortunately, the adrenaline rush that I seek was not present as I was watching this movie, I reckon this is due to its element of “no surprise” in its storyline - - it’s somewhat predictable. Not necessarily my choice of movie, but the sheer awesomeness of the race is enough to drive me into it.
The storyline is kind of weak – I’m not feeling the emotive elements of the movie. I think they stressed too much into the action role of the movie that the whole emotions of the movie is somewhat forgotten.
Verdict:
Watch it if you crave for awesome action sequence and you couldn’t care less of the story.
Don’t if you’re a storyline enthusiast who is extremely particular about “drama”
