Arabian Night in KB

KB Bloggers did it again. A wonderful evening was spent last night with music, food and joy at the residence of the ever so generous Sheikh Khalid; author of Arab Families. And again the hour’s drive to KB was worth it.

I came with Zayn Sabri, who incidentally became a last minute emcee. During the first one the emcee didn’t turn up, so I came prepared with one. Nyahahah napaan~

The main question that night was “where’s Liza and Nonnie?”

Liza where were you? KB to happen without the author of KB Happening sounds rather… incomplete. Heh, but I’m sure you had some other important stuff to do.

Nonetheless, it went marvellously. A few familiar faces were there, along with those I have never seen before, I sat in the same table with another blogger I only happen to have met that night; Abdul Khaliq Jr.

Remember when I said that I am NEVER lucky when it comes to lucky draws, and that if I wanna win something, I have to compete for it. Well, that happened during the first KB Bloggers; where I won the Larry game and won absolutely nothing from the lucky draws.

And did it happen again during the 2nd Bloggers night? Oh yes it did. Next time I really needn’t be bothered with raffle tickets, seriously, a black cat won something, and that’s saying something about my luck. But regardless, I came in second for the Karaoke competition with my rendition of “Right Here Waiting”.. wohooo! So that compensates everything, except for the fact that I accidentally left my gift at Sheikh’s place. Pleh. The Kurapak team, on the other hand, hogged most of the lucky draw prizes, congrats you guys.

Talking about hogging, Mau, on the other hand, hogged the mic, together with myself and Zayn. Heheh. Twas fun.

Oh, the theme for the night was fancy dress. And I came as err…. Nothing in specific. But I was wearing a rather unusual top, so that came as rather “fancy” – I think.

The food was once again fantastic and at the end of the night, I lost my voice.

Congratulations once again to Arab Families for hosting such a wonderful event. You guys are such an amazing host.
